Programs & prices

Which programs run in Phuket?

Three programs run in Phuket. Elephant Nature takes about 3 to 3.5 hours and includes a Thai meal. Walk & Feed takes about 1.5 hours, and you make rice balls with fruit for the elephants. Mini also takes about 1.5 hours. Every Phuket program includes hotel pickup and supervised feeding, with no riding, bathing or touching.

How much does the Phuket program cost?

In Phuket, Elephant Nature costs ฿2,900 per adult and ฿1,700 per child, Walk & Feed costs ฿2,200 and ฿1,400, and Mini costs ฿1,500 and ฿1,100. Child prices apply to ages 4 to 11, and children under 3 join free. All prices are in Thai baht and include hotel pickup and insurance.

What is included in Phuket?

Every Phuket program includes hotel pickup and drop-off, a guide, supervised feeding, the nature trail, elephant food, drinking water and insurance. Elephant Nature adds a Thai meal with a view of the elephants. On Walk & Feed you also prepare rice balls with fruit. Walk & Feed and Mini don’t include a meal.

Pickup & times

What time do the Phuket programs start?

The Phuket Elephant Nature program runs from 09:00 to 12:30 or from 14:00 to 17:00. Walk & Feed and Mini start at 09:00, 11:00 or 14:00 and last about 1.5 hours. Your hotel pickup time depends on where you’re staying and which session you pick, and our team confirms it when you book.

Is hotel pickup included in Phuket?

Yes. Hotel pickup and drop-off are included on every Phuket program from the island’s main areas. If you’re staying further out, for example in the far north of Phuket or at Ao Por Pier, an extra transfer charge may apply. Our team tells you the amount before you book, and confirms your pickup time too.

On the day

What happens during the Phuket program?

A Phuket visit starts with a short talk about the elephants and how to behave around them. Then you feed them under your guide’s supervision, from a respectful distance, and walk the nature trail. After that the time belongs to the elephants: they wander, dust themselves and snack with their mahouts while you watch.

Can I bathe with or touch the elephants in Phuket?

No. In Phuket there’s no bathing with the elephants and no touching, and of course no riding and no shows. The elephants have their own private time in the water and mud, away from guests. Feeding is supervised and done from a respectful distance, so the elephants never get crowded by visitors.
